Hi,

KWin's desktop effects are really slow. For example, minimizing a window drops the fps to ~10 fps. Also, resizing is laggish. I got a Nvidia Geforce 9400 GT and the 180.51 binary driver. I've already tried lots of tweaks which supposed to improve my performance, but they didn't help. Compiz runs much, MUCH better, so it's not my hardware's fault.

All of a sudden, the effects are running smoothly now
