Fenster bleiben beim Bewegen im Hintergrund

Hi.
Danke
MfG Richy

You'd probably get more answers if you post your question in English. Or, if you feel your English isn't good enough (but I should stress that there a lot of people here whose native language isn't English so your English skills would in all likelihood not be a problem) post it in the German forum at http://www.kde-forum.de/

Hi sorry I'm new to this forum and didn't realize I was in the wrong one.
Here my problem again but in English :)
If I move an inactive window with alt + left mouseclick, it remains inactive so that it disappears behind an other window if I drag it over it.
I've compiz and the KDE effects disabled because I run Xinerama.
Best regards

No problem. That happens.

And I assume you want the inactive window to be in front? If so, it's (hopefully) easily fixed. Note: I don't have Compiz installed so I can't tell for sure if it works there as well but it should.

Start system-settings.
Select look & feel -> Window behavior
On the focus tab, make sure policy is set to focus under mouse.
Check the "Raise, with the following delay"

That should move the window to the front whenever you try to alt-drag it. It does become the active window though. And this behavior does take a while to get used to, but you can try and see if it what you want.

If you don't want "Focus under mouse":
System Settings -> Window Behavior -> Window Actions. In the second box (Inner Window, Titlebar & Frame), change "Left button" from "Move" to "Activate, Raise and Move.

I also have to thank you - this is something that has annoyed me, but I didn't know it was configurable. Now I took a second look, and there it was. That's KDE for you.

Edit: Oh. In my own happiness I missed that you use Compiz. Unfortunately I can't help you then (note that Compiz isn't a KDE application).
