Firefox coming to the front

Wed Nov 25, 2009 9:43 am
Hi,

I start firefox with two windows and ~15tabs. A couple of those tabs require login. When I start firefox, the two windows come to the front alternatively and mess with my typing the passwords.

Is there a way to prevent any window stack change whatsoever: I do not want any window to be able to come to the front if *I* do not specify it explicitely. If not, is it at least possible to prevent Firefox to change stacking order ?

Thanks a lot,

Try increasing KWin's Focus Stealing Prevention level.
System Settings > Window Behaviour > Window Behaviour. Try setting Focus Stealing Prevention to Medium or High.

KDE Sysadmin
