I just updated to kde 4.4 rc1. But i see that window resizing become slower. In kde 4.3 with qt 4.5 resizing is smoother. Anyone else has this problem? I think its qt 4.6 foult. I hope theres solution.

I think it's the new oxygen style's fault. If i set my window decoration style to oxygen i get slow resizes too. When i set it to plastik, everything runs as smooth as before.

I also experience this problem. Windows resize feels very heavy. I am running Kubuntu on a Intel E8400 3 ghz + Nvidia 7300GS.

I use Trunk with the Oxygen style and wouldn't call it hugely slow by any measure. It was completely fluid with Firefox, however Quassel was much more laggier.

Konsole had less lag than Quassel by quite a fair margin. Akregator responded even better than Konsole, nearly as well as Firefox.
