Hi there,
I have a screen of size 3200x1200 pixels consisting of 2 monitors 1600x1200 side by side. Until yesterday (using KDE 4.4.0), when maximising a window, it was maximised on one monitor only. So I could have 2 maximised windows side by side. Today I updated to KDE 4.4.1 and now windows are maximised on the whole screen! Is this a bug or a feature? It really sucks! Can I somehow get back the old behavior? I tried to play with Display settings in the system tray ("Anzeige einrichten" in German KDE) and there disabled fullscreen display on multiple monitors (in German: "Unterstützung von Vollbilddarstellung auf mehrere Monitore"), but it had no effect. my system: opensuse 11.2 and KDE 4.4 from the "semi-official" Factory (KDE 4.4) repository, nvidia chipset graphics with nvidia proprietary driver Thanks for help, Christoph |

That is most certainly a regression, since I doubt an application is usable maximised across two monitors. Please file a bug report at bugs.kde.org.

I am using opensuse 11.2 with KDE factory and nvidia binary driver and I am not having this problem.
