I am using KDE 4.4.4 on Archlinux 64bit.
Is there a way how to prohibit rotation desktop when a use short cut for switch to previous desktop. It means: if I am on first desktop and I press CTRL+ALT+Left (switch to previous desktop) the desktop is switched to fourth desktop. but I want to stay on first desktop. I don't know how to describe it better. The same problem is with action: switch to next desktop move window to previous desktop etc. Thx Fafi |

not sure I understand your problem but:
you can disable the shortcuts in systemsettings -> shortcuts and bindings -> global keyboard shortcuts -> kwin you can use shortcuts to switch to specific desktops (ex ctrl+F1) you can set kwin to have only 1 desktop (effectively disabling switching) systemsettings -> windows behavior -> virtual desktops -> desktops -> number of desktops |

go to the multiple desktop kcm in systemsetting, second tab and disable the "wrap around" option. I think that should fix it for you.
