What Desktop Effect causes this?

Fri Oct 08, 2010 4:14 pm
When I using KDE, texts seems to disappear. This happens when line scroll happens as shown in this video. Anyone would give me a hint what Desktop Effect probably related to this problem? It start to happen after I remove ~/.kde4 folder. Thank you.

This is a short video showing part of third row in the table was disappearing when I deleted a row. This happens when I scroll down in web browser. Thank you.

Interesting. I would recommend deactivating Desktop Effects one by one until the problem disappears.

I am sorry, bcooksley. It seems to be a big time consuming for me. I didn't like to uncheck one and restart computer for each Desktop Effect option. I unchecked most of them except Login, Taskbar Thumbnails, Logout, Minimize Animation, Zoom, Dim Screen for Administrator Mode, Box Switch, Desktop Cube, Desktop Cube Animation, Desktop Grid and Present Windows, Those are that I think I need. And I guess it solved my problem. Thank you.
