Hello Guys
I am using now opensuse KDE and I have to press Alt+Shift+F12
to enable ...
I have installed the Closed Driver of Ati and I dont get something ...
Same as this it was w/ Kubuntu as I used Compiz to do something like that ...
I removed by mistake the ~/.kde4 and then was empty the Trash ..

You can go to the advanced compositing settings and disable the functionality checks. In the next minor release the problem will be resolved.
