Using kde 4.6. Never had this problem with 4.5. Here is the dump:

It appears that a KWin Desktop Effect causes the Intel driver components in KWin to crash. Please install more debugging symbols and regenerate the backtrace, then file a bug with it at bugs.kde.org.

I would be happy to do this. Can you tell me how to install more debugging symbols?
|

Debugging packages have the *-dbg prefix in your package manager.

I get dependency errors when i try to add the dbg packages for some of the KDE components. What repo should I have in my config?

I turned off the blur feature (it was giving my UI some sluggishness) and the problem of kwin crashing when the screensaver exits is fixed. However, Im still happy to help track down the problem if you can tell me how to get these dbg packages installed.

Your repository is possibly out of date, try updating it.

Did the apt-get update. I still get the problem. Here is my error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: kdebase-workspace-dbg: Depends: kdebase-runtime-dbg but it is not going to be installed kdebase-dbg: Depends: kdebase-runtime-dbg but it is not going to be installed |

When i try to install kdebase-runtime-dbg, i get the following error:
The following packages have unmet dependencies: kdebase-runtime-dbg: Depends: kdelibs5-dbg but it is not going to be installed What can I try next? |
Administrator

Does trying to install kdelibs5-dbg succeed? It sounds like the repository you are using is somehow broken. Try refreshing the package cache.

This indicates a bug in Intel's graphics drivers, you need to file an appropriate report at the freedesktop.org bugzilla.
