Hi,
the gradient in the Oxygen window decoration isn't showing even though it is set. This wasn't a problem in 4.5, and I believe it worked in 4.6 before I turned off desktop effects due to performance problems. I thought they would work again as soon as I started to use desktop effects again (the problems aren't there anymore for some reason), but even with compositing enabled and after restarting, I get a bland, flat title bar instead of the nice gradient one that transitions so nicely into the Oxygen style. I use openSUSE 11.3 with KDE 4.6 from the KDE 4.6 repo. Thank you for your help! |

Is this for all windows?
Also, please check System Settings -> Workspace Appearance -> Configure Decoration... -> Fine Tuning -> Background style (it should be Radial Gradient).

Yes, this is for all windows, no matter whether maximized or not, or whether the application is native or not.
Radial gradient is what I was referring to. Sorry, I was translating back from German. So yes, radial gradients are activated, but don't work. |

Hm. If you change to solid color and then back to radial gradient, does anything change? What if you change window decoration theme and then back to Oxygen?
Make sure you don't have any weird rules in System Settings -> Workspace Appearance -> Configure Decoration... -> Window-Specific Overrides.

It was weird window-specific rules! I had set flat gradients:
