Resizing tiled windows possible? And other tiling questions.

Hello.

I am using KDE SC 4.6.0 in Chakra.

First question: What I want to do is change the sizes of tiled windows. So for instance if I have two windows open they will by default take half the screen each. I want to be able to drag the border between the window to make one larger and the other smaller (or achieve the same through some other method). This post's reply: brainstorm.php#idea88202_page1 seems to say that this should already be a feature, but I can't figure out how to do this. Am I missing something, or is it not implemented?

Second question: Tiling does not seem to be working on my laptop (1280x800). I.e. the windows seem to default to being full screen, and I can't seem to coerce them into tiling. Is this by design on smaller screens? On my desktop computer it works as expected.

Third question: Not quite tiling, but is it possible (maybe in a config file somewhere) to select how large windows should become when dragging them to the screen edges?

Thanks alot for any help.

The default tiling positions aren't adequate, i'd like to determine the window use of the applications I use.
