Hello,

I've the following setup, see image:
Image

The Matrox TripleHead2Go Digital emulates one large monitor (3840x1024) to the video card. My problem is, when I maximize a window it maximizes to the whole desktop, because it thinks it is one big screen.

I prefer to maximize of just easily resize the windows to one real monitor size.

Any ideas how I can arrange this, or thing I could try.

Best regards,

You somehow need to get X to see it as 3 screens rather than 1. I guess however a Xinerama setup is detected would work, but not sure how to switch it on. Once X advertises the correct data, it should work fine.

I'll take a look at that.

KDE has also the feature that when you move a window against the side of the desktop it resizes to the half desktop (in my case 1.5 monitor). Can I change those settings? (to 1/3 = 1 monitor :))

Once you fix the monitor information provided by X that should work too I think. They all get their information from the same source.
