I downloaded the latest kdebase workspace 4.6.3 and found only scene_opengl.cpp, where are scene_opengl_egl.cpp and scene_opengl_glx.cpp, or are these yet not available in the main , if so then why is this page: http://community.kde.org/KWin/Hacking#OpenGL claiming that kwin contains these files

The file seperation was performed after the KDE 4.6 release, and as such is only included in KDE master at the moment. This change will also be released as part of the KDE 4.7 Beta. It is not included in other releases from the KDE 4.6 series as that series is feature frozen for bug fixes only.

Can we get the beta release of 4.7 and if yes where can we download it from?

The Beta release has not taken place yet, but should do so within the next couple of weeks at the latest.

You can also get the development version (master branch) as well, see http://techbase.kde.org/Getting_Started for more information. The easiest way is usually to use one of the build scripts.
