Hi,
this happens to Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.4.2 (latest) on an Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS 64bit, dual-monitor setup, X.org 7.5. $ kwin -v Qt: 4.6.2 KDE Development Platform: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5) KWin: 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5) before maximizing: http://imageshack.us/f/41/snapshot18m.jpg/ after maximizing - note that the interior of the window didn't change its size: http://imageshack.us/f/835/snapshot19.jpg/ Interestingly, when dragging the lower right corner (to resize using the mouse), the window resizes correctly. It looks like the maximize event/window size change doesn't reach the app/underlying libs..? Any clues if this is a known bug (or "feature") or about a fix / workaround will be appreciated. thanks |

I just tested with Acrobat Reader on current 4.7 betas and I can't reproduce the problem you are seeing. It may be an old bug fixed in newer versions: 4.4 can be considered "old" at this stage.

Thanks for test & reply. I will wait for newer KDE to land in Ubuntu repos, or just live with this (minor annoyance)
