Hello,

Does anyone know of a tutorial or manual for learning more about the settings under System Settings > Window Behavior > Window-Specific or the kwinrulesrc file which the System Settings > Window Behavior > Window-Specific updates? Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

What type of action would you like to do with it? Many things can be done, as it has a variety of settings.

Thanks for the reply,

Right now I am just trying to have programs start on my primary monitor as opposed to my 2nd monitor. Having programs start on the monitor they were last used on would also be fine. I have it set to have the initial position of any normal window at 0,0. This is a start although not perfect as windows such as Kickoff Application Launcher also start at the top left of my screen. Mainly I am just looking for documentation to learn about these setting instead of learn by trial and error.

I suspect if you set a particular position to force the window to be at, it will appear on the right window.
