Running pclinuxos 11.9 on an ibm r50p. It has an ATI Mobilty FireGL T2. For starters, i can't seem to install the propitiatory drivers for it, which i'm guessing is why kwin is not letting me use opengl. Really just looking for some advice to get all this pretty eye candy up and working. I'm a linux noob so i apologize in advance. Any help would be greatly appreciated though.

I'd look at the PCLinxOS site as the installation of drivers is a distro's responsibility.
