More fine-grained control of "Animation Speed"?

Hi,

I have a problem with kwin's "Animation Speed" setting which controls the speed of various animations like minimize/restore.

On my netbook the "normal" speed setting is too fast. Windows appear/disappear almost instantly when minimized, the same goes for taskbar-popups. That way, it doesn't look very smooth, unfortunately.

On the other hand, setting the speed to "slow" does what you would expect and animations really become slow - too slow!

I would like to have a setting between "normal" and "slow". Is it possible to do this somehow by manually editing the config? Is it possible to only change the speed of some effects?
