Hello,
is there a way to prevent plasma-netbook coming up from a persistent stick running in usb-live-mode? I mean currently, kwin crahses and restarts always in plasma-netbook mode. I tried adding plasma-desktop in autostart, but that does not prevent KDE to figure out that i am using a netbook and so starts netbook-plasma anyhow... So maybe completely uninstalling plasma-netbook works or is there a setting or config I could make sure, the live-usb always starts and ends up in plasma-desktop? Best make this globally for any new user I might add to this usb-stick, so not each eacher has to set this themselves. Thanks! |

Are you sure it's not just some settings in KWin/Plasma? I don't know how it works, but for me I always get regular Plasma Desktop on my Netbook.
What's your setting in System Settings -> Workspace Behavior -> Workspace -> Workspace Type?
