In Compiz, I have a very nice plugin, called "grid".
With this plugin, it's possible to resize windows in a very easy way. Modes like fullscreen or half of the screen are available. http://wiki.compiz-fusion.org/Plugins/Grid It makes work much faster, I think and i miss it in kwin |

Please explain what the grid plugin is. Users should be able to understand the idea without having used compiz or having to follow any links.

With this plugin, I can resize windows in a very easy way.
As example, when i press strg+alt+6 the window takes the right half side of the screen, or when i press strg+alt+4 the left side of the screen. Other possibilties are a quarter - or fullscreen Combinated with Desktop edges this could be very powerful |
