Better support for mobile devices.

Wed Dec 02, 2009 1:46 pm
On my mac, when I sync my mobile via Bluetooth ,I get all my calendar appointments and others inside iCal , all my contacts are synced to skye so that i can call them (since international calls can cost a lot) and its really very easy. I would like that experience to be replicated in KDE.We could integrate a phone synchronization app which will integrate into Kontact and Kopete so that after syncing, all contact too are synced. This would further improve the usablity.

Can you clarify your idea?
The way I understand it is that you want a KDE phone synchronisation application which is integrated with the existing Kontact suite and (perhaps through a plugin) Skype.

I am pretty sure this sort of thing is planned for kbluetooth.
