Hi.

It could been great to change behavior of save dialog to automatically save a document before asking for something.

Default save path would be ~/Documents/Applications/ or ~/.kde-documents/ . Save dialog could only asks for file extension, but only in cases, when application isn't integrated.

After returning file name, file path and file extension to an application, we can asks user for a tags, description and allow to export an document(exporting means set own path, another extension, document type and name). We must also wait for close a document by application to perform this tasks.

Someone is already a tag-based save that doesn't worry about directories on the works.

Yes. I remember this. As I also remember, this requires to file exist. To add tags to file we require to file exist, so current implementation can't been integrated with applications.

I would be happy if save dialog could change. I read many posts about new save/open dialog, which nepomuk integration, but since year nobody mention about this project.

Unless I have a specific information indicating this project has been abandoned I can't change the status of the idea.
