Someone is already working on KDE support for a new password management system that is shared between KDE and Gnome. This will replace kwallet in the background (although to the user it will look the same).

What do you think about some sort of proxy dialog? When some application asks for open a wallet (KDE or GNOME), proxy dialog will appear and it will open both KDE and GNOME wallets. Of course, we must set the same passwords to both wallets.

What do you make of a type of intermediary discourse? Tell the bell At the point when some application requests open a wallet (KDE or GNOME), intermediary exchange will show up and it will open both KDE and GNOME wallets. Obviously, we should set similar passwords to the two wallets.
