Hi!

I'm looking for a simple way to add a song from the playlist pane to a saved playlist. Example: while playing a random playlist, I would like to add a song from this list to a saved playlist called "my favourites". My favourite way would be to have an entry in the context menu of the song like "add to saved playlist/my favourites".

Currently I open the playlists in the media source pane, then drag&drop the song onto the saved playlist. But it's kind of anoying to change the media pane from collection to playlists all the time. And you have to be sure to drop it onto the name of the playlist. When the entries of the playlist are shown and you drop the song into this list, Amarok crashes :-(

Thanks, Peter

You can use the bookmarks system to make switching between the collection and the playlists faster. It's the star icon in the top right of the media sources view.

I can't reproduce the crash you're describing; it has likely been fixed since the release you're using. Assuming you're on the most recent version (2.5), then update to 2.6 when it's released, which should be in the next few days; if you're on an older version try updating to 2.5.

Hi Sentynel,

I had just figured out the bookmarks feature and its helpful.

I currently use Amarok 2.5.0 on Kubuntu 11.10.
