Hi

Does anybody know how to make amarok recognize thai fonts in songs tags ?

I saw a patch on the forum but it applies for the 1.4 version and I got the 2.5.. I didn't dare to use it. ;)
I posted the question on opentle forum (the thai linux distribution, but still no answer).

I run Ubuntu 12.04.

Thank you

Where did you see that patch? Could you please provide a link to that?

Also what encoding do you use? You should make sure to only use UTF encoding in everything, that covers all fonts, the old ISO encoding system tends to scramble things. This is something you can change easily with a mass-tagger like kid3 or easytag.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
