M3u playlists not appears

Thu Sep 27, 2012 11:38 am
Hi All
I have a problem with amarok version 2.6.0 installed on OpenSuse 12.2
I choose as a Source Media "Files" and browse in my Usb external hard disk to the path where i have my m3u playlists files BUT i view only the folders! None of 266 m3u files appears! Why? With older version of amarok this worked!
There is also a workaroud to avoid rescan of collection everytime that startup amarok? Because the rescan it's very slow and not ever necessary.

Thanks in advice

2 things to try
1) enable universal mass storage collection plugin in Amarok settings
2) change Phonon backend to VLC (or Gstreamer)

OpenSuse Leap 42.1 x64, Plasma 5.x

The universal mass storage collection plugin in Amarok settings was already enable but missed me the phonon-backend-vlc, so i have installed it, after logout login and modify the preference between gstreamer and vlc, the browse of m3u playlist works and obviously can play it

Thanks a Lots!
