I just setup a system wide mysql server, mainly for akonadi. Now I'd like Amarok to use the same server.
All is set up and works, only one detail irks me : Akonadi connects to mysql over a UNIX socket. I didn't find that capability in Amarok. I'd like to not have to worry about mysql listening on a TCP socket and me accidentally turning off the firewall => Is it possible to have Amarok connect to a mysql server over a UNIX socket? If yes, please tell how.
