More trouble... (file associations)

Wed Jan 30, 2013 3:00 pm
When I try to access a folder trough Amarok's tab (edit file info, tags, where the file is located-on the bottom of menu) instead of Dolphin it opens KTorrent informing me that the file is invalid..

It might have something to do with authorizing Konqueror to remember opening magnet links in KTorrent?

That sounds like your file associations in KDE are mixed up, please have a look at the System Settings -> File Associations. This is very likely not an Amarok problem, but a KDE one.

Also, would it hurt to open a new thread when you ask questions which are totally unrelated to the subject? Edit: I split the topic, else the forum gets really unusable if unrelated questions come up in posts.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
