I'm looking for confirmation about a repeatable bug I first noticed in 2.6.0 and still exists in 2.70. Both tested on KDE 4.10.1.
* In a test environment, delete all Amarok config files and data files such that Amarok starts clean. * For testing purposes, cancel any possible dialogs about finding local music files. * From the Settings menu, select Configure Amarok. * Select the Scripts option. * Uncheck/disable only the Librivox.org script. * Select the OK button. * Amarok crashes. Unfortunately I don't have any debugging symbols installed at this time to provide a backtrace, but the crash is repeatable for me. My work-around is to disable the Librivox.org script only after saving other configuration changes and then returning to the Scripts option. I don't know why the crash occurs in the first scenario but not with the work-around. I will file a bug report but I prefer confirmation first. |

No need to check on 2.6, what matters is the latest stable version which is 2.7.
FWIW, I can't reproduce this, but please file a bug anyway, giving as many details as possible.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |
