hello everybody,
so I tried this nepomuk tech to see how it would benefit my daily pc experience.
first thing I noticed, it indexes very fast.
second thing, we need an easy way to search/browse through tags in dolphin, at least.
third, I tried the nepomuk collection in amarok, but it actually has only 13 tracks in it, not 11.000. My question is: why?
Audio files are all indexed in audio tag in dolphin, so, where's the problem?
Can someone give a help?

I wiped /.kde/local/share/amarok and now I have 7.000 tracks.. but what about the others 4.000?
It seems that whole folders are skipped, they contain different file formats - so it's not a file format specific issue -, but these are present under dolphin audio tag.
fourth thing to notice: in nepomuk collection you cannot edit ID3 tags, songs are ordered alphabetically, you can't organize files. no good.

Well, as stated in the release notes: this is a first preview release, there are not all features available yet. Please check the bug reports in https://bugs.kde.org/buglist.cgi?produc ... lution=--- to get the current state of what is working or not.

should I fill a bug for every problem with nepomuk collection or I take for granted that you know what's missing/not working?

above that, I hope that audio cd stack rewrite will be accepted for google summer of code, because I want to to listen to cds
and i think i'll file a wish to add an "undo" button to playlist as drag'n'drop operations are often tricky.

If you find bugs then please report them, but be aware to not file as "bug" something that is simply not implemented yet, that needs to go in the "wishlist" type of bug.
