Until Monday I was using Amarok with no problem, but today I try to start it, and it did not work
I run from the console and get the following message: QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave. unnamed app(2604): KUniqueApplication: Cannot find the D-Bus session server: "Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken." unnamed app(2603): KUniqueApplication: Pipe closed unexpectedly. I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 Thanks |

What did you change? Did you make some updates? Also: which exact Amarok and KDE versions do you use?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I'm using KDE 4.10.4 and Amarok 2.7.0, and well, I updated the system normally

Then please update Amarok to 2.7.1. If that doesn't help, you should try erasing the amarokrc file in $HOME/.kde/share/config/

Ok, I use "sudo apt-get install amarok --only-upgrade" to update the program, but the Terminal returned me: "amarok is in its latest version", so I deleted the amarokrc file and now it seems to be to open the program, but after a few moments closes again.
I run it again from the Terminal, and returns me the same message I posted first. |

Well, you need to add the updates and backports PPA to get version 2.7.1, it is not in the regular updates.

Maybe I'm doing somthing wrong.
I'm installing the PPA repositories and Backports this way: "sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports" then: "sudo apt-get update" and: "sudo apt-get install amarok " But when I check the version of Amarok it continues in the: dpkg -s amarok |grep Version Version: 2:2.7.0-0ubuntu2.1 I missing some step? |

Done, I get amarok latest version, but unfortunately, the problem persist in the same way, I deleted again de amarokrc file but doesn't help.
But now I get this from the console: ~$ amarok QDBusConnection: session D-Bus connection created before QCoreApplication. Application may misbehave. Apparently there is a crash, please make a crash report to http://bugs.kde.org and make sure you have the amarok-dbg, phonon-dbg and phonon-backend-gstreamer-dbg packages all installed beforehand so you get a valid backtrace.
On a side note: to get a valid debug output on the konsole, you need to start Amarok with
