I upgraded to Kubuntu 13.04. Now Amarok 2.7.0 keeps crashing, usually at the end of the first song in the playlist, regardless of what song it may be. How can I fix this?

Please upgrade to Amarok 2.8, and get rid of your old configuration files in $HOME/.kde/share/config/. See also http://www.kubuntu.org/news/amarok-2.8
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Should I do this from repository or should I manually download the package?

I added the backport repository, then I updated and it turned out some dependencies were missing:
"E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution)." So after running that I ran an apt-get -f install but it ends with the following: "Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-ppa/ba ... 1_i386.deb Hash Sum mismatch E: Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing?" Further "apt-get update" does not resolve the problem. |

It would be a good idea to also add the updates repository by running this:
Then try to run this:
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
