Hi, I just successfully built Amarok today in Kubuntu. I followed Myriam's blog to the letter:

http://blogs.fsfe.org/myriam/2009/09/26/compiling-amarok-from-git-locally-full-summary/

You should delete your build directory, check every step, and rebuild.

Good luck!
