amarok worked until I did new install opensuse 13.1 (and hence amarok) and no go.
any secrets known issues.

define "worked until", does it open? does it open but no sound?
does it work as a new user?

are there any messages if run in Konsole?
what is the output if run in Konsole with (using the code tags or posting on pastebin.com to post the output)
