Hi,
Near a lot of streams working fine, thoes 3 streams don't work. Addresses below are free of errors and those streams work fine under Ubuntu (Rhythmbox) and under Windows (WMPlayer)
Result in a foolish error message: "The track is not playable. When Amorak was last closed, this track was at file:///, but Amorak can not find this track on the file system or in any of your collections anymore. You may try plugging in the device this track may be on. Under Track Details, Location is changed into / (root)
Same as previous, but now "this track was at, but.." Under Track details, the location is empty and the playlist entry is empty, except for the CD-icon left of it, which contains a blue dot
Appears in the playlist but does nothing. What can I do to get those 3 work? |

Do you have the necessary codecs installed for playing those streams? Since you don't tell the necessary basics, like Amarok version, KDE release version, distribution, phonon backend in use there is not much help I can offer...
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

fyi:
I did a quick test of 2 of the streams with the VLC phonon backend under Amarok git and they didn't play then tested with Kaffeine, sMplayer and VLC and they played only with VLC not with sMplayer nor with Kaffeine makes me wonder if there's something non-standard about the layout of the streams, but as I know nothing about layouts of streams ....... |

Besides the fact that the two first ones are badly formatted and don't select a default source (which causes the error message), there probably is also a codec missing. But in any case I would like to get some basic information as requested in my first post.

Thanks for your help.
In the mean time, I found why only 3 out of 47 streams did not work. The addresses were specific for Windows Media player. All 3 have another stream for iTunes which plays perfect in Amarok Gtnx Ruud |
