Hello! I have updated my LTS from 12.04 to 14.04. Since this I can see the lists but can't play them in Amarok 2.8.0 longer. The reason is here:

This was in 12.04:
/media/Musik/Alben/17-Hippies/Sirba/02 - Mad Bad Cat.mp3

Now in 14.04 the path is:
/media/svensen/Musik/Alben/17-Hippies/Sirba/02 - Mad Bad Cat.mp3

My question is: In witch file is the play-list hide? I have round 50 lists and do not will made them all new. >:(

Thank's, Svensen.

just add the new path to your collection and rescan it. This is not our fault, but a change made by Ubuntu.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Thanks Mamarok for the quick answer.

I have change the path to /media/svensen/Musik. Than I let the complete scan ruining.

But I got the following (translated) error:

Error was found, second file will be ignored. In example:

/media/svensen/Musik/Alben/Guano Apes/Guano Apes - Crossing the Deadline.mp3
/media/svensen/Musik/Alben/Guano Apes/Guanos Apes/Guano Apes - Crossing the Deadline.mp3

Ok. Thats fine. I click 'ok' and restarted Amarok. Unfortunately the same problem. The Play-List can't find the file cause the path is still wrong.

And I thought so too the error comes from Ubuntu.

Did you check the path to the file and are you sure there are not actually two entries? The Path is in both cases /media/svensen/Musik/..., the problem appears to be in the sub-folders.

Jip. I checked here, I checked there. Read the Manuel for Developers and than the section fore servers... But just wait a second.

My own scripts running fine. But why not Amarok? Let's think a moment.

So, I made a link (as root) /media/musik to /media/svensen/musik. And here we go! All my entries in the Databank are working again. It's dirty - but it's working! *thumbsup* Problem solved.

So, thanks for your understanding.

Best wishes, Svensen.

P.S. Please close this case as solved.
