I just installed Ubuntu 14 and everything was working, now after a few other installs and updates get the following error when trying to start up Amarok
Error - Amarok Could not enter folder /boot/lost+found. I have searched Google and found nothing. Every other app seems to be working fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards... |

Very strange, why would it want to enter the boot folder?
How do you run Amarok? Please start it in a konsole with
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

There seem to be a problem with the database, do you use the default one or did you configure an external MySQL server?
In any case, you can fix the database corruption by running the following command:
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11

Thank you again. Unfortuanely I do not have mySql installed and the command returned this error:
sudo mysqlcheck -p --auto-repair --all-databases mysqlcheck: command not found I am not sure what to do... |

No MySQL installed is the problem, then, as Amarok needs MySQL embedded to have a database, please check your Amarok installation again. If the problem persists, you should notify your distribution, as MySQL embedded is absolutely needed.
From the README file of Amarok:
