all of a sudden my amarok crashed and im like wtf, so try to close it it dosent close so i try agaiin i get prompted "amarok still in use terminate program to end" that still dosent work so i kill the process from the task manager , stop it dead, uninstall it then reinstall it but when it re installs it still crashed in the exact same place as before i reinstalled, now the funny thing is if i use the amarok icon in the bottom right of the screen i can play, stop, pause ect but the acctual gui for amarok is stone dead nothing there at all r, really enjoying amarok at the mo and dont want to have to reinstall the os just to get amarok back, any help much appreciated.

Which exact Amarok version, which Linux distribution, which KDE version?

What exactly did you do when it started to behave like this? I very much doubt this happened ut of the blue, you must have changed something.

FWIW: uninstalling and reinstalling is a bad idea, as we probably lost valuable information. This is never a good idea on Linux...

haha for the past 2 days its been doing it then all of a sudden its started working again i really couldnt tell you what happend it was working, i was making some plauylists and bang she goes but shes back now
