Write statistics to mp3 files in external HDD

Hi

I'm happily using the synchronize statistics between my local collection and Ipod; I also setup Amarok to write statistics to files (play count, last play, etc.).
I can also synchronize statistics with files on my external HDD when it's attached. However, in this case, I noted that only play count is synchronized in the files of the external HDD, not first nor last play... is it a known bug or intentional?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry for the long delay to answer your question:

I try to get hold of the developers who wrote the synchronization so they can explain that, but apparently real life prevents that for now. Thank you for your patience, I will keep you updated on this.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

No problem, and thanks for the answer :)

I'm not sure I understand though: have developers answered that this kind of synchronization is not possible at the moment? Or they haven't answered yet?

thanks in advance

They have not answered yet to tell if this is intentional or not.

I still haven't heard any news...

however, it might not be related to external HDD only: I noted that

- I play a few mp3 files,
- I move those mp3 files so that amarok does not see them anymore
- I put the mp3 files back, and no play statistics are shown on those files...

so, can it be that Amarok does not store play statistics at all?
