I am two days new to amarok

I want to play one of the podcasts, under:

public podcast directories
digital podcasts
music
podcast (I am interested in)

when I select the podcast nothing happens
when I double-click on the podcast nothing happens
I don't find anything that lets me play it

can anyone assist?

well, the podcast directory might contain some that don't work anymore, unfortunately. Could you please specify which one you tried so I can try as well?

I couldn't find any with a title of "ambient", so I tried all the ones starting with "trance"
I also tried a couple others

Apparently the Public Podcast Directory is not reachable. As this is an external service which we do not maintain, it is pretty much out of our hands. Try the Cool Streams or the NPR Podcast listing instead.

Which exact Amarok version do you use?

Thanks, I can get Cool Streams to work, even found an ambient, but not NPR,
I am using Amarok 2.8.0 it came installed with Kubuntu 14.10 KDE Plasma

Will have to check what is wrong with the Podcast directory, but this might take some time.
