Hello Guru...
Not sure what's changed, but i used to play music using Amarok and pick up the guitar and follow along with the music, but no longer is Amarok able to "Fetch" the song tabs. It seems as if it's searching but never is there any success in doing so. Well, while using Linux Mint 17.3 as my OS, i've fully deleted Amarok, re'installed using symantec, and system software, even repeated the install using sudo apt-get. Very strange seeing how suddenly the option to view tabs while music is playing has suddenly disappeared. I'm open to any suggestion. I'm thinking maybe something as simple as a key stroke someplace in the program options perhaps?? anyway, thanks for you time. Jim |

Since the guitar tabs are fetched from an external source, did you check if the source is still available?
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Hi ! I think that as the Mamarok said that the guitar tabs are fetched with external source that's why you have the problem. But I am not clear what you want to ask..can you please clear it more >???

It was very clear of what he was asking, especially if you read the two links I posted, this has been fixed in amarok 2.9 jbernard, after you update to 2.9, you might have to also install apt-transport-https for it to work properly |
