Hello folks,
I want to change the Forward-Jump in Amarok from 10 seconds to 2 seconds. In the menu it says: "Seek Forward By 10 seconds* * These durations are configurable in the amarokrc." What entry would I have to make in amarokrc ? Greetings from Germany. ... Thomas |

Has nobody an idea?
Is there another place, where I could ask? |

Sorry, seems I overlooked this one.
If you want to seek by increments of 2 seconds, the shortcut would be Ctrl+Right arrow, no? No need to change anything in the configuration file.

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

Thank you Mamarok for your answer!
Now, in my case, strangely Amarok does nothing on Ctrl+Left and does increase Volume on Ctrl+Right. (The Volume also changes with Up and Down arrows (with or without Ctrl)). How can that be? (I have Version 2.5-GIT Under KDE 4.8.4 (4.8.4)) |

oh my, really, 2.5-git? This is so totally outdated, current release is 2.8.90 aka 2.9 beta, which was almost 6 months ago. You really should get a newer version, the shortcuts have seen quite some work since the version you run.

Ok, thank you Mamarok,
I try to install the new Amarok version on my old Debian system now. It's not supported and I've never done this before. Let's see! |
