Cannot make bookmarks in Amarok

Sat Jan 28, 2017 8:19 pm
Hello. Recently I reinstalled Linux Mint 17.3 KDE and can no longer make bookmarks in Amarok. (I use it primarily for listening to audio books.) I've tried reinstalling both LM and Amarok but nothing works. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

Hm, since we didn't change anything on our side, how about checking if you do not have some read-only settings in your home directory causing the problem? Amarok uses the ~/.kde/share/apps/ folders, make sure those are not set to read-only, including subfolders.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

I checked the permissions and they were okay. I re-installed the OS once again (for reasons other than Amarok) and now the bookmarks work.
