Amarok resume function

Wed Feb 07, 2018 11:32 am
Hello,

does Amarok have a resume function ... so the playback of an audiobook e.g. automatically starts again where I closed it?

And if not, does Amarok has a function, where it automatically sets a bookmark where I closed it?
My former Amarok used to do this ... but now I am using Version 2.8.0 and can't get it to work again.

Can anyone help me with this?

There is a "Resume on start" option in the Amarok settings -> Playback.
I don't think the automatic bookmark works in your version, but should be fixed in the upcoming Amarok 2.9.0

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

Thank you for your answer, Mamarok!

Yes, I have checked this option, but nothing happens. After restart the track starts to play from the beginning again.

But good, that the automatic bookmark-function will work with the next version.
