I am trying to build 2.8.90 on Ubuntu 16.04 in an effort to get over the CD loop bug, using

Code: Select all
sudo cmake .. -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=`kde4-config --prefix`

Have installed both Qt5 & Qt4, am getting the following error & have been unable to find a resolution:

Code: Select all
CMake Error at /usr/share/cmake-3.5/Modules/FindPackageHandleStandardArgs.cmake:148 (message):
  Could NOT find Qt4 (missing: QT_QTWEBKIT_INCLUDE_DIR QT_QTWEBKIT_LIBRARY)
(found suitable version "4.8.7", minimum required is "4.8.3")

Seems that it doesn't like the newer version of qt???

Any suggestions appreciated!

Seems that I need to teach myself to read the logs properly... The actual error was a few lines above the one I posted, related to a missing dependency... :< :< :<
