Hi all,

I'm editing tags with Picard and they save fine. I can check them with Kid3 and the changes are showing. But Amarok does not seem to be taking the changes, I have the correct write permission to the files and even after an Update Collection, the tags don't update.

Any thoughts on what may be wrong? I also the Get Tags from MusicBrainz button in Amarok never returns any results...

Did you activate the "Watch folders for changes" option in the collection settings? There is a (very old) display bug we have never been capable to find the reason for which causes the displayed information not to update immediately after a collection rescan, usually a recursive full scan, followed by a restart should do the trick.

I did have the "Watch folders for changes" option active. The full collection rescan from the Local Collection options fixed the issue.

I'll just have to remember to do that every once in a while
