Hi,
Is it still possible to install Amarok in Kubuntu 20.04?
Is it there any how to?
Has it all the functionality?

No, most distros have removed all the ancient unsupported KDE 4 related software now. I t has not ben available in Kubuntu for a few years now.

Which is a few years old now ;D
Amarok was removed in 19.04, actually, so it has been gone for only one year there,

FWIW: there soon will be Amarok 3 alpha release, with a few things not yet working properly, the port to Qt5 is mostly done, the Context View applets have to be rewritten. For all Distros providing mariadb there shouldn't be a problem installing that version.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

And will there be a way to port an existing database? I seen too remember it used to be SQLite?

It hasn't been SQLite since over 10 years, its embedded MySQL, and remains so until further notice, MariaDB is needed to use the embedded database anyway nowadays.

You can use a Qt5-based Amarok, for Kubuntu 18.04 (or 20.04 or 19.10) from Pedro Gomes, one of the developers of Amarok: https://launchpad.net/~pgomes/+archive/ubuntu/amarok

I've installed that from the PPA in Ubuntu 20.04 and it works like a charm! :)
