Hi there,

during the upgrade of my linux distrubution the amarok version was updated from 2.8.x to 2.9.70.
Apparently the settings are lost, I guess it is because amarok moved from KDE 4 to KDE 5 and is not using the old .kde4 directory any more. Is there any chance to import the rating statistics? How should I do that? Using the menu "Statistik abgleichen" leads to an empty window, after the progress bar is completed.

Thanks for an idea

normally, you should have had 2.9.0 before updating your distribution, as 2.8. is very old and had a different database structure. I fear we can't help you here. Upgrading from 2.9 to the current alpha aka 2.9.70 shouldn't make you loose any statistics.

Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...
