modify center pane layout esp. "current track"?

Hi, is it possible to modify the layout of the center pane?
Problem is that the first and last column need more space and the middle should display information more compact |

The layout of the individual information panes can not be changed, but you can change the width of the central pane, or even rearrange the panes differently by unlocking the option in the Menu View -> Lock Layout
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

however it would really be nice if you could modify the layout in a similar manner to the playlist's |
