Hi. I'm using Mandrake 9.2 with KDE 3.1.3...and it seems that I need KDE 3.2 to compile amaroK. Is this correct, or is there a workaround to get it to compile succesfully? perhaps just upgrading certain modules? I guess I could get Mandrake 10 which comes with KDE 3.2, but downloading 3 CDs again is tough for my connection.
Thanks in advance. Diego. |

Yes, amaroK requires KDE 3.2. There is no way around this.
I'm sure you can upgrade KDE with some form of Mandrake update package, without installing a completely new distro. I recommend asking on a Mandrake mailing list.
