Amarok is a great player! Just installed and very happy! The only that I want to know: is there a chance to play *.ape *.mpc *.wma *.aac in amarok?

gstreamer offers a wide range of plugins, and i'm quite sure they offer what you beg for

Tried to compile gstreamer with some plugins!
recompiled amarok and setted to play with gstreamer, but when I push play the time counter don't start and also I can't hear any sound! If I start from Konsole I get

Run "gst-register-0.8" as root. If you still have trouble, come to #gstreamer on irc.freenode.net.
